The F.A.S.T. Assessment will be Friday, January 20, 2012, so please come to school well-rested and prepared to test. I am expecting you all to do wonderfully! I want to see increases in the scores!

There will be a MATERIALS CHECK on Monday, December 12, 2011. I will be checking to see if you have the following: three-ring binder, loose-leaf notebook paper, dividers, graded assignments in their corresponding sections, your completed F.A.S.T. Goal Sheet, and Tone Words List.
Periods 1 and 4: On Friday, October 7, 2011, there will be a materials check and vocabulary quiz based on "A Sound of Thunder".
Period 3A: On Thursday, October 6, 2011, there will be a materials check and vocabulary quiz based on "A Sound of Thunder".
English 10 F.A.S.T. Assessments will take place on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 8:00 AM. Please arrive to school on time and be sure to eat breakfast. It's our time to SHINE! Our goal is to PROFICIENT or ADVANCED! Let's do it scholars!
"A Sound of Thunder" Pre-Test Class Averages will be posted on Thursday, October 20, 2011. I wonder which class will have the highest class average? Hmmmm... :-)
Period 3A, you will take your pre-test Thursday, October 20, 2011. (I will post pre-test scores after it is completed.)
"A Sound of Thunder" Final Selection Test will be Tuesday, October 25, 2011 (for all periods). Be sure to STUDY!
If you need to make-up or are interested in taking the re-test for "A Sound of Thunder" by Ray Bradbury, I will be available on Monday, November 14, 2011 after school for you to complete your assessment. Please schedule your test with me, so that I can have adequate copies.
The date for the re-test has been changed to Monday, November 21, 2011. I need a little more to grade the essays.
